Title (if not in your name it must be signed and notarized on the back in your name, within the last 30 days.) or Current state issued registration.

Photo Identification to reflect you as the owner of the vehicle.

Lease agreement if applicable.

Please note that insurance verification is not a form of proof of ownership.

Should it not be possible for the owner/lease holder to claim the personal effects and/or the vehicle it will be necessary to complete the Authorization form and present it along with the Title or current registration or the lease contract to be sent with your chosen representative.

Personal effects are those items that are not glued, bolted, snapped in, or otherwise fastened to the vehicle. Factory equipment or supplied items such as spare tire, body and engine parts, stereo and speakers or security alarms will not be removed.

Impounded Vehicles

OTC Holds

If your vehicle is being impounded and has a hold applied for reasons of Taxes due the Oklahoma Tax Commission (OTC) it will be necessary for you to obtain current license plate/decal and take them to the central police station (6th and Denver just west) and secure a written release from the Records Division before the vehicle can be released.

Moving Violations

It will be necessary to go to the records division and pay those outstanding citations and secure a written release.

Criminal Investigation Holds

It will be necessary to go to the Records Division and secure a written release before the vehicle and/or its contents can be viewed or released.

Please note that if your vehicle is impounded it will be subject to auction if it is not retrieved within 40 days.
